Stagecoach West Scotland celebrates Scottish Bus Week with fun-filled local events

To mark Scottish Bus Week (22-28 May), Stagecoach West Scotland is arranging a week of fun-filled activities and events celebrating bus services and the people behind bus across Scotland.

Scottish Bus Week* is a chance for everyone to say thank you to those working in bus who provide essential services every day across all routes.

Everyone is invited to come along to Stagecoach’s pop-up events being held across the west coast of Scotland (please see the full list below). There will be lots of competitions, giveaways, electric bus displays, special guests and fun for all the family.

Women in Bus, Strathclyde University with Fiona Doherty, Managing Director, Stagecoach West Scotland hosted by Joan Aitken OBE

 NHS Staff Benefits Travel Pop-Up, Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Glasgow
Thursday 25th May
12:30pm – 4pm
Stagecoach West Scotland Electric Bus Pop-Up, The Cutty-Sark Centre, High Street, Ayr
Friday 26th May
2pm – 4pm
Stagecoach West Scotland Electric Bus Pop-Up, Dean Castle Country Park, Kilmarnock
Sunday 28th May
11am – 4pm
Stagecoach West Scotland Road Show in Irvine, Ardrossan, Saltcoats and Stevenson

Fiona Doherty, Managing Director, Stagecoach West Scotland said: “Scottish Bus Week is a great opportunity for us to say thanks to everyone in the bus industry who keep the wheels moving each day around the country.
